1>傲慢
宣告“我是阿尔法，我是俄梅戛”（《启示录》22:13）

2>嫉妒
严令禁止拜偶像，“因我耶和华是忌邪的神”（《出埃及记》20:5）

3>暴怒
降洪水灭世、焚毁所多玛（《创世记》6-19）

4>懒惰
第七日安息，容允人类休憩（《创世记》2:2）

5>贪婪
要求献祭初熟谷物、头生牲畜（《利未记》23:10）

6>暴食
以吗哺喂养以色列人、五饼二鱼饱五千人（《马太福音》14:13-21）

7>色欲
命令人类“生养众多”，默许多妻制（《列王纪上》11:3）

Pride
Declaring "I am the Alpha and the Omega" (Revelation 22:13).

Envy
Forbidding idol worship with the edict: "For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God" (Exodus 20:5).

Wrath
Destroying the world with floods and burning Sodom (Genesis 6-19).

Sloth
Resting on the seventh day and permitting human idleness (Genesis 2:2).

Greed
Demanding offerings of firstfruits and firstborn livestock (Leviticus 23:10).

Gluttony
Feeding Israelites with manna and multiplying loaves and fishes for five thousand (Matthew 14:13-21).

Lust
Commanding mankind to "be fruitful and multiply" while condoning polygamy (1 Kings 11:3).
